
Chief Medical Officer
Dr. Church has more than 25 years of experience working across the pharmaceutical and CRO industry in clinical research from early development to post-approval. For more than a decade, she had positions of increasing responsibilities at Bayer within the anti-Infective medical department. For the past 16 years, she has worked in various executive and corporate leadership positions, where she built high-performing departments for a CRO. During that time, she was involved primarily in oncology programs and led various disciplines including medical, pharmacovigilance, medical writing, clinical science, regulatory and quality management.
Dr. Church has provided scientific as well as medical expertise in the planning, development, implementation, and evaluation of clinical development programs. She has provided medical consulting and guidance on the strategy and content of regulatory submissions in a variety of therapeutic areas.
Dr. Church received her MD from the University of Puerto Rico. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at Bowman Gray (Wake Forest University) in Winston Salem, North Carolina. She holds an executive MBA from the University of New Haven where she has also taught classes as an adjunct professor at the graduate level.
